hi i was wanting to raise alot of money for my church and i was wondering if anyone has any money raising ideas??????

the women at my church hold a rummage sale 2x a year. they notify the newspapers and radio stations and public access TV in advance (they all advertise for free to non-profits) and while advertising the date of the rummage sale, also ask for donations of any items around the house. you wouldn't believe the stuff people drop off! it's great! the ladies of my church average $500 - $1000 each sale.
the beauty of this idea is that there is no out of pocket expensives - no overhead - no extra food to throw away. People give you the product to sell! good luck.

You could host a dinner where people pay so much a plate, it works well for alot of places. If you are in the south bar b que plate sales go over real well. The last one my church did raised about 3500.00

You can make $30-60 a day in few hrs just for fun. You don't have to setup a website or fee to start. I'm lazy not every active everyday and still make money in a free time. It was really exciting, when I saw my first pay in the mail around $391.50. Hey, you can try just for fun.

Have a silent auction. Get area businesses to donate a service or product for the auction.

Bake sales get a lot of people involved, especially when there is some "reward" for the highest bid item!!!!
