Of course you can, I did it for long enough and that was with a mortgage too. Sure you can't go out to the pub every night or eat out every week but who really can afford to do that? If you have no debt, or just a little, you can live on 15k quite comfortably, its just dependant on what you class as comfortable I suppose.

Donal what makes you think a person cant live on that amount of money there are thousands who would like that amount// So all's not well then Jackie, its beautifully sunny here in South of England

depends what sort of life you want, council tenants get by on that amount of money but don't expect to live a luxurious life, unemployment here in Scotland is bad and most jobs available pay the minimum wage, and today it is cold wet and windy.
