I banked with a very small bank for the last 8 or 9 years. I am aggrivated because they would not approve me for a home equity loan. I think it is small town bull. I am transferring everything to chase bank. I get free checking, an open end line of credit, a bank card, computer banking and the guy was really helpful. At my old bank, you could feel them being arrogant and almost snubbing when you walk thru the door. I dont know why i am so nervous. Maybe its change or am I missing something. I work full time as a nurse and I am single.

Want to get a backpack but work in a white collar environment and might be viewed as a high school or college student. Backpack is easier to carry around and less straining on the back. Messenger looks more business friendly but less convienent. Your takes. Thanks.

if this fable was read to you as a kid and you understood it, raise your hand.
I just researched it on Wikipedia and Yahoo search and the story refers to the "hare" as a "she". The moral to the story is that "slow and steady [SHE] wins the race". Woohoo...women rock! Are there any other fables or stories you can tell us where women win.

Gambling is defined as "any matter or thing involving risk or hazardous uncertainty."

Ponzi is defined as "a swindle in which a quick return, made up of money from new investors, on an initial investment lures the victim into much bigger risks."

Can someone explain to me how this is differnet?
I want to create a company that runs the same way as a "HYIP" or "Ponzi" but do it legally, and honestly. The only reason its illegal is because of stupid Charles Ponzi who lied to his "investors." Isn't that it?

Why can't I create a real, legal business, that does this same thing but tells the investors what they're getting into. IT"S GAMBLING and people do it all the time. I did it, and lost on some, won on others. I don't understand why i'm being told over and over again that I can't do this. Please help.

I am 18 and I work and wanted somewhere to put my money instead of hiding over $200 in my pants pocket every week, not to mention it will stop me from spending it >< I don't want to pay a monthly fee or anything, anyone know a bank that has little or no fees? I live in louisiana if that helps any.

I guess I just don't seem to understand. There is, of course, a numerous amount of wealthy people in the U.S. I guess my question is why is it that these people don't share information on how to make money, or even share a little bit of their secrets to success. Isn't there enough money out there for everyone? Just wondering.
