I work for a NPO ( Non Profit Organization ) my position is CTO. My boss who is the COO is a Non-IT person and has no knowledge whatsoever of IT.

Since we don't have much money to spend and neither in IT, I propose him 2 weeks ago, to trade the services from a turn-key sw development company. They give us 2 programmers and in exchange we give them a tax free receipt for a 6 month duration.

At first, he was eager to do it, because with those 2 resources, we could develop several apps that have been in a hold status for a couple years, and really are needed in the organization.

Until today, a few hours ago, where he told me that he was scared, because if we do that, all the knowledge from our organization would be in other persons and the outsourcing would be a real bad idea.

So, my question is, how do you IT Sales people convince your potential customers, to acquire your outsourcing services with the example I just gave you? What are your arguments?

I've called Kinkos, Staples, and Office Depot and they all want to charge a ton. Even the cheapest of them wants to charge me over $2 a page and at least $7 for the first page. That would cost me over $65 for a simple job.

Who has a reasonable price?

I'm planning soon to go on the road as a travel nurse. I'm single and I'm going to put all my belongings in a storage unit and only have with me what I can fit into my car.

With a travel nurse company, they will arrange a furnished apartment for free at every assignment site. Each assignment will last 13 weeks, so I can choose places all over the US and potentially be in 4 different corners of the US in one year.

I'm trying to plan ahead the details, and can't figure out how to handle my mail. I don't really want to ask a friend or family member because I feel uncomfortable having someone else handle my mail that might include a lot of financial information......they say that most identitity theft is from someone you know.

I've thought about trying to get all my bankstatements and credit card statements to be "on line" only........but there will still be mail.

If I rent a po box at every location, that will look suspect and can even affect my credit rating. What to do?

I found this recruiter, he sent me off to an interview with his client, and the client liked me. I'll start working in 2 weeks.

The problem is the pay is miserable and I'd be working much less than 40 hours/ week.

Can I, now that I have a foot in the door, ask the recruiter for more money?

Do I risk losing this job offer? I don't want to sound too manipulative.

I know i wont get an exact answer, and that it depends on which day i send it. This is simply a plain letter. The reason I'm ignorant to this is because I normally don't deal with mail, or the US post office. Thanks in advance.
