Research has shown that majority of buyers chose the middle option - neither too cheap nor too expensive (called "compromise effect"). Would Sad people also chose something in between or go for the highest or lowest priced product? Any experience or anecdote would help.

I am researching for my bussiness plan to open a laser tag business, and while starting small sounds safe, i personally believe that thinking big (as in bigger place, bigger location, things that cost big) is the only way to make this work for the long haul. does anyone think this is possible or am i a dillusional entreprenuer?

I've well established that I am going to need a well detailed buisness plan to start up this entertainment buisness. What would you say are the most important aspects to consider and plan out on paper. I wanna start a lasertag paintball operation, so if anyone can help give me ideas of key points to right down to reach investor pockets, please help. i'm sirring up thought now, but a jolt of help is always apprecitated.

My interest in crude oil goes back many years. I want to start a company that links sellors with buyers of crude for commission. So if i'm only getting 1USD per Barrel but helping buyers buy up to a million barrels and beyond, then I'm into profit.
I don't want to lay out loads of cash, my biggest investment I want to put in is time and skills. I'm very good at research, and at doing things within a framework. I understand the importance of laws and how costly not abiding by local, regional, national on international law can be. I don't want this to be an elaborate venture just yet. Does anybody have know how on how I could become a successful crude agent, using my computer, phone line, email, bank accout, languages and key factor a clear British Passport. If you can guide me in any way then please be in touch. A partnership or joint venture would be considered. Simple model i'm working with is to find sellors globally, get product information, find buyers for commission. ?

I'm thinking that it's being 'allowed' in a lot of different industries - banking, insurance, etc - as well as across industry lines and since we have a global world, this is a worldwide concern. It appears to me that big business is being allowed to 'gobble' up the smaller companies at will. Doesn't that create a monopoly? Isn't that what that big court case was about all those years ago, to keep AT&T from creating a monopoly? Maybe these questions should have been in the politices and government section as I can't understand how this could be happening if 'our' government weren't allowing it to happening.

You buy 6 Cows for $600, you go and sell them for $700, then you go again and buy 6 new cows for $800, and sell them for $900..How much money do you have in the end.
