Most of the companies in the world added all together the majority of their employees are paid either minimum wage or even below minimum wage (below, in countries that they can get away with it, or exploited workers like immigrants in country's that suposedly have laws to guard against it).
Sorry I can't give you an exact mathimatical figure (there's too many undocumented factors, even in the USA alone, called exploited and under-the-table people), but usually the bottom work force is the biggest and they are always the most underpaid (but yet they're the front line of service LOL it's twistedly ironic)
I wish they would really pay a LIVING WAGE.

In the US According to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, about two million American workers, 2.7 percent of the overall work force, earned the minimum hourly wage of $5.15 or less in 2004.
However 17 states have minimum wages higher than the federal minimum, so those states would not be included in that figure.

Minimum Wage statistics... apparently 3.6% of all workers in Canada (1994... 10 years ago) were receiving minimum wage. I would assume that that total would double in ten years. 7.2% of the workforce, therefore 7.2% of the companies.
