Of course Wal-Mart is a good place to shop, but guess what? They pay very poor wages, and now the minimium wage is going to go to $7,25, so maybe the CEO of Wal-MART will be a little less rich. They run off all the Mom and Pop stores in the neighborhoods, so hopefully they will not take over the world. In a place like Egypt, a Wal-Mart store would ruin their life, by wiping out the small street vendors, and Mom and Pop stores. We must fight to keep; big companys from getting too big for their (britches) so to speak.

Yes, the future is WalMart and Hillary Clinton, what a horrible thought....If you people will all stop shopping at WalMart (I personally do not, even though there is one right across the street from me; I will go out of my way and am willing to spend a bit more for the same items to not shop there) then you will have done your part to stop the madness. By the way, if you compare WalMart's prices with other stores, you will find that they are not that much less expensive; and in some cases, are far more expensive than other stores. Ex: Febreeze Laundry Odor Remover - at WalMart, almost $9.00; at my grocery store (not a national chain, either) the same product is $5.43. Guess where I buy it?

What goes up, must come down! This includes Walmart. I'll give them 4 more good years. A China owned superstore could take over this market. Time will tell. Actually I get groceries at Walmart every friday.

But its great that normal working poor folk can buy things...instead of "just for the rich society" Walmart and their employees are hailed as heroes in my mind. With your outtake on Walmarts makes me wonder if your a jealous rich snob owning a business that Walmart undercut your profits. You won't be missed boo hoo

Nope, I think the 'next big thing' are the big box stores that you see popping up all over the place. They are like giant warehouses. Like Rona, Home Depot, Staples, Futureshop, Visions and places like that. They pass on wholesale savings to the customer and carry a larger stock.

Walmart is the epitome of American capitalism

With Walmart, people who work to make honest livings are losing work to China, who works at a fraction of a price.
