I just received an email saying that you can dial this number which is the phone number information without being charged the $1.00 charge even on a cell phone.

It is free :)

It actually spells- 1-800-Free-411. I have used it a few times before. After awhile, they'll have you listen to a couple 15-30 second adds in order to recieve the listing for free, but it's worth it. Especially if your carrier charges you $1.99 for 411 like mine does, LOL.

Yes! Its awesome to use, just dial 1800free411. its an automated phone system that uses voice reconition. after answering all the questions it will ask you if you want that number or another one from a business that supports free411.
