Get them from the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Or start an advice column in a local newspaper. Do some research. There are tons of sources of "life's little stories."

Trying asking people who you want life stories about. If your doing a book on "Life in the 20's and 30's say, go to where older people hang out (rest homes, VA, Elks & Moose lodges) and put fliers out asking for their stories.

Write to people in prison. They like to tell their life stories, and they have alot of interesting stuff to say.
