I have an interview, it is in the HR department so I am not supposed to know finance but I guess it would be an advantage...
I am not completely stranger to the field, having worked in administration for years, still I would like to know something more specific...something to impress!

Thank you

There are 2 different HRA plans. There is an HSA plan, as well as a Traditional plan. I am a 23 year old recent college grad male. I have no health problems and consider myself to be in extremely good shape. Based on these factors, can someone recommend which plan will be best for me? Thanks for your time!

Ok, I had a bad 4-wheeler accident a few weeks ago on my farm and had to go to the ER and have surgery. Since then I have had another surgery and I've had to put off job searching. I've been on unemployement and now that has stopped. I now have no money coming in except for my partner's income, which does not pay all the bills. I do have health insurance, but it only pays a portion of the medical bills. My question is, since the home and home owners insurance is in my partner's name can I sue her and her insurance pay for it. Her policy has 100,000 personal liability. We are getting more and more in debt and think this might work. Has anyone done this or know someone who has? Did you claim medical, loss of wages, pain and suffering, ect.?

Hi. I need help, and my insurance company just lets the phone ring...so does my condo management company...so any help will be appreciated! My downstairs neighbor's ceiling under my toilet fell down a bit--the cement is exposed now. He says he doesn't have homeowner's insurance (even though he owns his condo). I called a plumber who said it wasn't my seal, but rather pipe lower down at the "elbow" (whatever that means) and that it was cracked. He repaired it...for 630.00. Now, my neighbor wants me to pay to fix his ceiling too, plus my condo association says that since the pipe was coming from my toilet, they are not responsible either. My homeowner's insurance people, when I called them before I knew what was wrong, said if it has to do with the toilet it's a "maintenance" issue which is not covered. Is this true? Any part of this sound off to any of you experts? :) Thanks!

My grandfather just passed away unexpectantly. He received a US Steel pension but that is about all we know.
He was 89. I am trying to research and help her determine any benefits left or how it works. I personally do not know much on pensions. Is there a set time on how long your allowed to get one? months/years of payments until it runs out? Does it just one day stop coming?
Thanks for any advise

My son's pediatrician is always telling me about new balances that I have accrued there because of what insurance won't pay. So every time we're there I end up paying off the "balance" (which is never less than $100) in addition to my co-pay. We have also have a chiropractor, a dentist, our regular GP and my OB-GYN doctor. I have never had anything like this with the other doctors. I may have a small balance but nothing like what his pediatrician is charging. So I think the woman who does the billing either doesn't know what she is doing or she's playing dumb and scamming me. How can I tell? Have any other parents had anything like this come up?

And the insurance is a PPO- Blue Cross Blue Shield. It's the best coverage you can have. So it's not like I have a cheap plan.

Do we really need insurance?

Life insurance, why can't we just be cremated?
Who need a $100,000 worth of funeral?

Health insurance, why can't we just pay out of our pocket, health
insurance won't pay for our medical anyway.

House insurance, why can't the government help us out?

Car insurance, my mom paid $1,000 annually for 15 years...
and the old car got totaled and we only get $4,000.
That isn't fair.

I feel insurance companies rip us off.

has increased from $500 to $9,206 with my latest renewal! I don't live in an area that has hurricanes very often either! I have had Metlife for over 20 years with never any claims. The only way to get a lower deductible is if I have unbreakable windows or motorized storm shutters. The premium has gone down $200 but I would rather have the $500 deductible.
Anyone else heard of this or is it just Metlife?
