Does medicade cover dermatologist visits?

I don't have insurance, only medicade. Will i have to pay anything if i go to the dermatologist? And will it cover the prescription too?

Depends on what for. Medicaid covers things that are medically necessary. - if you're going for a skin infection, fine. If you're going for acne - go see your regular doctor. They won't shell out triple the price for a specialist if they don't have to.

I am sure they would cover skin cancer and chemo drugs. I hope they don't pay for cosmetic things.
