I live in Southern California, and am making payments on a 2000 Toyota Tacoma through HSBC Bank. My insurance payments are $344.00 a month (more than my truck payment!) since I have two speeding tickets and am 22yrs old. Am I required to carry Full-Coverage, can I get away with liability only?

I have health insurance coverage by Anthem. Recently I've been reading about Pharmacy Benefit Managers and how a lot of their business is Mail order. I read they squeeze margins and take away business from retail pharmacy. But what I don't understand is, from a patient's perspective, how does this work? Do they have their insurance like Anthem, and then also Medco? Or is Medco their insurance? So a patient goes to their doctor and gets a prescription. Usually they'd then go to their pharmacy and pick it up, pay a co-pay while their insurance covers the rest. Where does Medco come in with their competing mail order? What's the difference between health insurance and these pharmacy benefit managers? Please keep your answer in the perspective of the patient. I've read about it from the business angle and I'm confused as hell to how it works. Thanks in advance!!

Or some advice on ways to spend little now but have a lot in 20 years, for my DGD. thanks

I am with Liverpool Victoria with my car and they are by far the best. I got a very good quote from them on the internet for the home insurance.Does anybody agree with this or does anyone know of a better one?

I had been with HSBC for 4 years paying triple if the Liverpool Victoria premium and we had a water leak into the front room, they wouldn't pay, a leak into the kitchen from the bathroom and they wouldn't pay and now the integrated fridge broke down and they wouldn't pay.

He is off his med because we have no insurance, we had a local sort of insurance for non-insured people but just had to reapply. The pharmacy told him he had no coverage. Might have to get on one of those drug assistance programs.

Seriously.

For instance, If I took out a policy on Bob Barker, I could expect a payout in about three to five years.

Can I insure someone without their knowledge or permission?

(note: it isn't as if I would do anything to accelerate the process)

Open enrollment is coming up and my wife and i are trying to decide what to go with for health insurance-- a PPO or an HMO.

Does anyone have any positive or negative things to say about either one?

It is just the 2 of us with no kids.

Thanks in advance for any info.

How come I have to pay full price with cash, but if someone has medicaid or some other type of health insurance, the insurance company only pays (for example) $52.00 of an office call that I have to pay $80.00. Isn't that discrimination to people that pay cash?

I received a phonecall from SmartStep as a courtesy for being a longtime customer of my bank. I thought I said I didn't want their "coverage" but apparently the woman entered "yes" in the system. I need to find contact information for them so that I can cancel the plan. Please help.
