He is off his med because we have no insurance, we had a local sort of insurance for non-insured people but just had to reapply. The pharmacy told him he had no coverage. Might have to get on one of those drug assistance programs.

I am not sure what your question is. There are a number of drug assistance programs. Do a web search for them. If you are talking about someone sponging then my feeling is no work no eat.
