missouri is a financially depressed state...on highway 36 in the north end of the state you can rent a 3 bedroom house for $300 a month...the walmart stores sell goods to us cheaper than other places...clothes and furniture is often at a very reduced cost.
used clothing stores and garage sales are very big here. Gas for a month is about $100..lights about $50....HUD abounds here.
Industry is lacking but there are so many places to set up factories. Thre roads are good...and the temps are moderate..not extreme.
Most people around here make less than $10 an hour.
