I am currently seeking employment with LIberty national as an agent. I really need to know if they will pay me a base salary in the
beginning while I train. Will they leave me high and dry, without pay until I sell a policy? Please, someone answer soon.

They would have to unless they deal with brokers, which I think not. Welcome to the high and dry insurance business, which is where they all will leave you if you do not have any friends and relatives to sell to. Some companies hire new agents, flush them out if they do not sell their family members, some contract with experienced "brokers" who have made money and know their way around.
