What things would disqualify a person from getting life insurance? It is offered through my work but there is a part that says, "in order to obtain x amount in life insurance you have to provide evidence of insurability." What does this mean?

I'm 24 years old and working as a professional in malaysia.Recently i bought an insurance policy from AIA.After reading my insurance policy, i want to know a few things like
1) will i'll be getting annual cash dividents?
2)if let say i want to surrender my policy after 20 years..will i'll be getting my premiums back + the dividents?
3)is this the best savings+protection policy?
I'm confused..i want to ask my agent but i think its better to get opinion from other people first before consulting her.
and one more thing..is it benificial to own a few insurance policies?

We have just had to cancel a holiday because my wife's mother was taken into hospital. She is quite elderly and whilst her condition was not life threatening, she needed a drip infusion and was at first quite ill. However, she is now much better although somewhat confused. I have checked the policy and we seem to be covered but I am a little concerned that the claims people may say her condition didn't require us to cancel although my wife is an only child and her(my wife's mother) grandchildren for example live a considerable distance from us. Would appreciate any help or perhaps experience of similar situations.

He returned it immediately and kept the money.. As he didn't want that machine any longer.
Is this in any way illegal, or does he have to keep it, because the insurance company paid for it's replacement?

I got a job offer with an insurance company. This is my first job offer, so I am not sure if I should accept it. Is this job well-paid or not? I kinda have an idea what I should do, but is it worth it?

I am not sure what to do about health insurance after I graduate from college (in a few months). I know that I am going to need some time to job hunt (my field is very competitive) and I would also like to do some volunteer work before I start my career. Problem is, if I am not a full-time student, my parents' health insurance won't cover me, and if I don't or can't find a job with benefits right away, I will be left uninsured. Any ideas where I can get affordable health insurance for short-term (no more than a year and a half) ??? Thanks!

The company announced it will pay .60 cents on the first 5%. Do you think someday they someday take this back?

Also announced, medicare-eligble, over-65 retirees will no longer have employee-provided heatlh coverage effective Jan. 2008. They will receive $1800.00 that can be used for supplemental heath insurance.

I am 23 years old & I'm fixing to graduate from college. I will no longer be covered under my parents insurance & I want to buy some. I've always had wonderful insurance with Blue Cross/Blue Shield & I'd like to have the same kind of great insurance when I purchase it after graduating. I just want dental/maternity/maybe optical/and the other basics. Ballpark, how much would insurance be on me? When I get married will it be cheaper to cover both of us? What will that price be? I'm very healthy & do not smoke.

I am a healthy 40-year-old female with no major medical problems. I recently acquired health assurance (as I am self employed) at my own cost. My premiums are $149.00 a month, with a $1200 deductible. Are there any supplemental insurances out there for healthy adults to kick in when your primary insurance has such a high deductible? I know there are supp. insurance for people whom are on Medicare, but that is not the case here. I am healthy, 40 years old, with no kids.

THAT IS THE LINK TO MY COVERAGE TO BETTER HELP YOU EXPLAIN WHAT IS COVERED. SORRY FOR BEING SO IGNORANT ABOUT THIS. IT'S JUST REALLY CONFUSING.

Ok, I just got healthcare insurance. My deductible is 1200.00. What exactly does that mean? I have a "new patient" visit scheduled with a physician. Does this mean that I have to pay out of pocket for all doctor's visits up to $1200.00? How does my insurance company even know how much I have accumulated? What happens if I rarely see a physician? These are reasons I have declined insurance for many years, because I was worried that my premiums ($149.00) will just be spent on the "chance" I might get sick, and then when I do, I will still have to pay $1200.00 out of pocket before the insurance ever kicks in. I'm pretty healthy and it would take many pcp visits to accumulate $1200.00. THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS.
