we start our shifts on the hour. 9-5, 2-10, what have you. we cannot leave the building untill the end of the shift, or on the hour due to "liability". But, when we start we have to relieve the shift before us early, usually ten minutes, so they can be back "by the hour". if they dont get back by the hour the company docks pay to whoever was coming on shift. we are not paid for this extra time so we are losing out on at least six minutes of pay a day, and anytime we raise the issue with our employer they tell us "thats the way it is"...... is there anything i can do?

If the new owners of the company do not hire the previous employees, are the previous employees eligible to claim unemployment from the new owners of the company if not hired by them?
The employees earn comission only. The company name, building, everything else is the same.
It is a government contract that is periodically up for bid.

I work in maintenance / engineering and I'm kind of a kooky guy. I'm trying to come up with more ways to freak people out at work. The environment is conservative and very corporate. I have no supervision and am not really that accountable. People think I'm in some sort of cult or maybe an underground boxing club.

So far I've shaved my head and worn a metal spiked belt.
I'm considering coming to work wearing a pink **** that has a unicorn on it. I'm looking to escalate the weirdness quickly but I'm running out of ideas.

Please, only post ideas. I don't really care how you feel about what I'm doing.

I am currently working in a Engineering design company as a 'Trainee Engineer'. I am a B.E. Mechanical graduated this year. I want to leave this company for my further studies. I have signed a bond of Rs. 50,000 for six months on a stamp paper. This bond will be ending in March and I will be leaving in December. My salary is around Rs.12000 and by december I will be completing 5 months. I want breach that bond. So can I skip the payment of Rs. 50000 and runaway? Can they take any legal action against it?
