I didn't work for a Big 4 my first day of work at my first pemanent job, but worked at a bank. First day there they were making low interest loans available to people, and the guards there thought that I was trying to cut in line, they ended up calling up to my boss to make sure that I was a new hire. I do agree with the dead inside, that they wouldn't have hired you if they didn't feel that you were the right person for the job.

My first week at a big 4 company was pretty laid back. Orientation the first 4 days (this was because I had prior experience and got extra indoctrination). After that there was BS things like Privacy training and company compliance things.

Just remember, if you weren't fit for the position they wouldn't have hired you. These firms are the best of the business and they wouldn't waste their efforts if you weren't worth it.

1st 2 or 3 weeks consist of orientation followed by training. If the intake of recruits is big enough, they may hold this in a hotel. Each intake can be 100 or more new staff, depending on the office. It's fun stuff, you may be asked to introduce yourself when placed in smaller workgroups, etc. Take it easy and enjoy! And congratulations!
