We are about to start up a company and planning to import and sell technological products like GPS Navigation Systems, Facial Recognition Systems.

We have to decide on the name of the company to register and I wonder should we use "CompanyName Technologies" or "CompanyName Technology" to hit the right point.

By all means, go ahead. It's always good to have a descriptive name so consumers looking thru the yellow pages would know what you deal in, but it's not compulsory or mandatory by law. Good luck on your new venture!
