I am single, independent (noone can claim me as a dependent), and I have no children.

I made $11,000.00 last year, and I got 100% back. I dont know if this year will be the same.

Also, I recieved a promotion, and I will be making $32000.00/ year starting from Jan. with the same single/independent/no children status. Will that change anything in respects to tax returns?

Imagine you are a manager at Boeing and have just returned from a 1/2 day refresher ethics course. This is only one of many actions that Boeing has taken to reinforce its commitment to high ethical standards following charges that three employees had stolen thousands of documents from a direct competitor. In the aftermath Boeing lost $1 billion in satellite and rocket contracts and was not allowed to bid on similar government contracts for 90 days. In an open letter appearing as a full page ad in a major newspaper, the CEO stated that "Boeing has worked very hard to justify its reputation. However, we are a large organization, and we are not always perfect." What do you tell your employees who ask about the letter/ad? What do you tell your family and friends who asked about it? What if you were called upon to comment publicly about this situation? What would you do?

I am already $130,000 in debt. I am still in medical school and federal student loans are running out, I don't have any one that can co-sign for a private loan and anyway, I am sure getting more in debt is not the way to go. I am 29 y/o and am full time student. I am worrying about my future constantly. I would like to invest but I don't have enough money to do so. And in the years I am in my only option of a job would be to start my own business but even that takes the time and money I don't have. What can I do? What should I do? I need an income to finish studying or I won't be able to do so. Can anyone advice me on what to do please?

IRAs seem pointless as it's only 4k a year and it appears it won't be tax deductible either as I put in my max allowed into my 401k every year. What other options are ther eto not be taxed so much on my earnings?

I am sure there is one, would you use it? Because our government is already saying that there will not be any S.S. money in the coffers when we are 65 in the coming years. Also why are we letting them use that money now and we are not watching them better, I mean like a hawk folks???
The other side to this is we get to use our money now instead of them using it!
