First: I have seen those ads where you can sell your home quick (some even advertise getting the cash in 48hrs) and I didn't know if they were legit. Do they affect your credit in any way?

Secondly: I'm due to have a baby in 2 months. Is it possible (or safe) to make a move within this time frame?

We have been fighting to keep our house for some time now. I think it's smart to know when to back out of a situation before it becomes worse. I've tried contacting our mortgage company and they seemed shocked that we were trying to recitfy a situation considering we weren't in that bad yet. (We've only been over 30 days once). The problem is when I take my maturnity leave I will not be paid one cent from my place of employment- aside from the vacation I've been saving for this situation. And so the cause for my pressing questions... Thanks for any advice in advance!

I own a rental property in Houston. Since I live overseas and do not have home owners or renters insurance, the insurance company of my investment property will not write a $1000,000 umbrella policy. My investment property's dwelling policy has $300,000 liabililty coverage in it.

Is there any way I buy $1000,000 umbrella policy? Any names of insurance companies?

Thank you

Do I have to pay social security? I work at a church playing organ. It pays $75 a week. I'm 17 years old, and I live in New York State, if that helps.

My dad claims that I have to pay Social Security, so he won't let me spend the money I have saved. I need that money to buy a car.

So, do I have to pay, and please provide a source to back your answer up?

I worked in a dental surgery for 4 years and left a year and a half ago after a disagreement with my employer. I didn't have a contract, didnt get a payslip, I was expected to man the surgery on my lunch hour, so I didnt get much of a break although I was paid for my lunch, If we ran over I always stayed late and wasn't paid for extra time, anyway after a huge argument with my boss which left me in tears I walked out, I didnt want to take my boss to a tribunal but now he is making life difficult for myself and another collegue and wont provide references for any jobs we have applied for, so im now considering it, but the thing is although he was hard to work for we did get on , and had a laugh and this has put me off doing it, just want everyones opinion, and If I would have a case if I was to take it to a tribunal, thanks xx

I had not lived with my father for over a year and he moved to a new address two years ago. SOMEHOW, some of my bills were changed to his address and my father's girlfriend opened my bills. She then discussed my finances with her family and members of my family. I have contacted one particular company for over 2 years regarding what they did but have never received a response and they have sent me into collection.

Somebody please help me! I can't afford an attorney at this time and I am lost on what to do!
