I'm currently employed in the state of Ohio but may do some consulting work. I claim single zero and am paying roughly 21% tax on about $3300 a month. I'm wondering what I would have to charge to have the same take home after paying taxes via a form 1099 (if I have this all figured out right) at the end of the year.

Any help by chance?

I'm new to florida and I'm renting a low income apartment. We have inspections tommorrow. I'm expecting them to look in the kitchen , bath, and bedrooms and look at the general cleanliness of the place but do they have the right to search my dressers, draws, boxes and other personal belongings? I dont think so, do you? Its ok if they look in the closets, to me that part of the apartment structure but all furniture and dressers are personal which would require some sort of legal warrant. I'm just concerned about my right to privacy. Any thoughts from renters or landlords welcomed.

manager but to no avail. The building manager offered to let us move to other apartments in the building but at higher rents and they will not help with costs. Once I am paying moving costs I may as well move elsewhere for a better price.

I have been working the same job for the past 3 years of my life. About 2 months ago i decided i would switch departments at my job and try something new. I decided to work more "hands on" with the children at my daycare center instead of being a receptionist. There are 3 girls who are about the same age as me. They are best friends and a bit "clicky" shall i say. It's a bit immature for 21 year old girls but i guess that's how it is. my boyfriend works at the same place as me and while i was on the job the one girl that works and saw him on lunch approached him. He was getting pizza at the pizza parlor down the street. She tapped him and his friend on the shoulder and told him how she couldn't stand me i was a dumb person. She told him i was the dumbest girl she had ever met i was annoying and obnoxious. He apparently didn't know what to say considering he had NEVER spoken to the girl before EVER. I have never done anything to this girl...I'm in SHOCK! What to do?

I would like to know when i will receive $10 back after using google shopping card for the first time. I've tried to buy some products at participating stores(those that offer google check out), but the google check out shows the total cost only and doesn't automatically cut off the price by 10 bucks.

I have a question to what #1 means....

1) Pre-Qualification (Stated Income - $20,000 verified assets required)

***************** Does that mean I need to make atleast 20,000 a year??? I need to already own a house with more then $20,000 in assets??? Or I dont get it...I guess that is why I am asking for help.

I only included the rest of what I was reading so you had something else to go on.

2) Once Approved - 3 checks need to be written $2,000.00 in total; built

(Contract Deposit $500.00, Building Deposit $1,000.00, Appraisal $500

Then $-0- will be due at closing. That makes a total of $2,000.00 cash out-of-pocket needed for this investment. Construction loans, typically will close in 30 - 45 days, no additional cash is needed for closing and zero payments during construction.

At completion (10 to 12 months), you can sell your home and harvest the built up equity - appreciation or rent

Otherwise how would they know if you had a pre-existing condition? You could just lie and say u never had anything and act like it just now got diagnosed. I mean, unless u tell them who ur doctor was before this, they would have to search every doctor's records in the state/country. Or is there just a database where they can type in your name and find out your medical history??

I was not able to pay my taxes during the 2001/2002 tax years and I never did file. I have received refunds for all years file afterwards. I received a letter early 2006 stating my refund would be held until I filed, but I later received my refund in the mail. Will my refund be held this year? Do the old years tax filing requirements expire?

Also, I have a contract w/ my employer for a 4-day 32 hr work week w/ 7 paid holidays a year. I was just told that in order to get my holidays paid, I would have to work on my usual day-off on the week before and the week after the holiday. Same was applied to our hourly employees. Is that legal? Where should I go to obtain more information about this issue?
