My old boss has just asked me to go back to work for her, I wouldnt mind it but I sort of feel im going backwards not moving forwards, it was a good job but I stoped learning new things, so everthing is second nature to me now, should I go back or find a job that will stimulate me more?

A dear friend has a dream of being a fashion designer. She completed a teaching degree and then went on to do a couple of years of some sort of design qualification but had to stop for personal reasons. Is there something she can do to get a foot in the door somewhere and progress towards her dream? I'm an engineer and don't really have any idea about the fashion business.

Still, the classic problem of not being able to get a job without experience but you can't get experience without having been in a job for a while is stopping her from getting a start. Unusually(?), she can't stand the concept of working in retail (for example, a dress shop), although I've suggested that might be helpful.

Is going back to uni a prerequisite? Is there a way she could do something part-time and not take 10 years to get somewhere?

I think she'd appreciate any sort of insights or suggestions.

I am working on a chemistry project which consists of creating a product. My teacher said to us that we must research "how products are scaled up. Note that there is usually not a one to one ration in scaling up products and there has to be several trials." What does this mean?

I bought a BMW at Daytona Beach BMW(florida) this april. The salesman persuaded me to purchase a $300 tire and wheel insurane plan for 5 years and promised if i change my mind i can cancel it and get the money back at any time. I found the plan not useful so i canceled it one month later. When i asked for the refund, the finance manager at daytona BMW first told me the insurance company haven't returned the money to them. Then they told me i should expect the money from the insurance company directly (which was not the case as the insurance company told me they already gave the money back to the dealership). Then they told me i should wait and they will send me the money.
I waited a few months and received nothing so they called me back. This time they told me the dealership changed the ownership so they don't owe me anymoney any more and i should contact the previous company ( which i have absolutly no contact)
How can i get the money back? No lawers are willing to take the case

I have switched to a new company. If I withdraw the provident fund of mine of the previous company, what would be the tax liability for the current year? Will it be the principal amount withdrawan or it will be the interest earned on the amount deposited in PF account.

Secondly, I have come to know that my employer has not deposited the equal amount in my PF account as he deducted it from my salary. Is it correct on the empoyer's part to deposit lesser amount in the PF account?

I used to live in a big city until I graduated from college and had to move back in with my parents due to lack of funds and problems finding a good paying job.
