I ordered a pizza from Domino's with delivery...the total cost...$14.21...I paid with my credit card. Upon delivery, I signed a receipt for $14.21, and gave the driver $5 cash tip. I later, check my account and find that they charged me an additional 20%...FOR NO REASON! What action do I take other than just calling and giving them a piece of my mind?

I need some good solid advice for what to do in this situation as it keeps happening to me at this job.
We have SOPs, we are told to follow the SOP's and in fact make 'mistakes' that the managers bring to our attention if we do not follow these SOP's.
Tonight, I had a situation where I followed an SOP and as soon as I was done I was told by the 'lead' "You cannot just blindly follow SOP's! You should ask!". I was told this because apparently about a year ago, before I was here, an email came to this person saying to deviate from the SOP. I would not have gotten this email, and the SOP was never updated, there was also no way to know now to follow it.
So, I cannot follow them without asking, I cannot not follow them, it is not feasable to ask about 300 times a shift if it is ok to do what the SOP says to do.
So - what would you do, aside from finding a better job, in this situation?

I graduated from a very reputable school. I passed the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Board Exam in just one take and I got a good average. ever since I was in college, people always tell me I'm smart. Now, my career hasn't been off to a good start. It started with an unchallenging job, then me being stupid coz I turned down an interview with a big and famous auditing firm.

I so regret that I turned down their offer. I did it coz I was stupid and naive and I thought that if I did accept it, I might lose the job I had already secured.

In my second job, I was told to file a forced resignation.

In my third job, I'm very much underpaid, I tried and tried so hard to look for another job. I'm so tired already. There's this company I like but they're looking for fresh grads. It's too bad because the compensation is really good.

Considering my qualifications, i should be receiving 250% of what I receive now. What should i do? I feel so down.

my son had been working a this job for 2months his supervisor "just kidding"so he said, would continue to call him names like no good, worthless and on and on. he said he was just kidding but enough was enough. last week while at work he called my son a worthless n-word, my son told him he better just shutup and knock it off, but he didnt and he didnt have to because there was nothing he could do about it cause he was a lazy wothless n-word. well my son had finally just had enough and knocked the **** out of him a couple of times and he fired him. told him to get his stuff and find his own way home which was about 1 1/2hrs. away. he walked about 10 miles and then a friend finally got there to get him. the next morning my son got up and went to the boss to tell him what had happened and was told to get the f--k out of his office. were not exactly sure what the supervisor told him. where can we turn for some help and sweet justice? what would you do?

Here's my question/conern:
I just got hired into a finance firm, and I work in a CUBICLE for about 8 to 10 hours each day. Sitting about 7 feet behind me is a very large and NOISY printer that has an internal fan running all day inside of it. I try to ignore it, but, it's not easy. I asked my manager if the printer can be moved to another location. She said no, but did offer me the option to switch MY location. So, naturally, I did. The new cubicle wasn't without IT'S fair share of problems. The A/C made the spot very chilly, and, since it is away from the printer, you can now clearly hear the office's fluxtuating A/C system- sounds like "brrrrrrr, ::pause::, brrrrrrr, ::pause, brrrrr..." So, now I have a dilemma. Stay with the Printer, or move to icy-annoying land. I am afraid that if I move, I will find the new spot as WORSE, and then the OLD spot (next to the printer) will be taken up by someone else. help...SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
