I have recently been treated horribly by a staff member of a pizza place. I called in a delivery order for a pizza (giving my name, address, and credit card number), then I got a call back 15 minutes later by the person that took my order, who said that they will not deliver to me b/c "I" called repeatedly and harrassed them. She continued by cursing at me. I went to the restaraunt to request copies of my address and credit card information, and was greeted by incredibly rude, accusational behavior. The only reason they believe I am to blame is because I am the last person that called and I apparently sound like the harrasser (the harrasser had callerID blocked).

All I want is an apology. Owner refuses to fix the situation, despite my sumbission of a letter with phone records attached, proving that I made no harrassing calls. They refuse to force her to apologize. Therefore, I am launching an anti-Pizza Place campaign, w/ newspaper ads, flyers, and human rights grievances.

A week after my interview I was offered the job over the phone $50,000. I was hoping for $55,000. First off, is it likely he will go up that high? Also, what number should I throw out when I call him back to negotiate, $55,000? $57,500? $60,000?

I recently found out that my utility bills were still under my name after we broke up. My ex moved into a new place and had my name transferred to her new address..Unbelievable. I found this out since I got a bill of $600 total from the utility companies. I ofcourse filed a dispute. What measures should I take? Should I file a police report? What measures will the utility companies take? Would they make her pay? I am just really furious upon this situation and for her to put me in this situation.

I recently leased a house (I do not live in the same city) to a family on 6-month lease term. They just moved in. But they are not paying even the 1st month rent and I found they are telling many lies for many information they provide. I greatly appreciate your opinion on how to handle this situation.

Do you think that individuals who have credit cards, but can not pay more than the minimum payments (which means they can not pay back that debt) or all individuals who have ever filed bankruptcy are immoral? Interesting question here. Just curious what others think?

It seems that women in healthcare are more interested in tearing others down than building them up. It's easier to point out others problems than to help with solutions or face one's own problems. I am a female nurse, but even when I worked it finance, I found it more difficult to work for another female. To me, men are more straight forward and women are more emotional and devious. I grew up with 4 brothers, who all excel in their fields. I can't help but feel if I were a man, it would be different for me. But even in the nursing fields, women can be harsh to male nurses.

My employer has recently begun monthly mandatory meetings which I cannot attend b/c M-F I have another job. I work in healthcare as a CNA and I believe that I am required to attend six inservices yearly (I could be wrong on this point) The only alternative is to attend one of these hour long meeting while I am at the job in question. This is not always possible, we are often short staffed and removing an employee from the floor is impractical for resident care. When I voiced this concern in the last meeting I was asked to stay after> I posed an alternative solution that if they could provide me with the paperwork from each meeting then I would be able to read, sign that I read it and be counted as attending. This idea was shot down and the supervior then asked me how old I was (I refused to answer). The meeting ended with them stating that any issues with quality care were my problem and if I did not attend the meetings I would be written up or fired. What should I do from here?

Believe it or not, my dream job is to be a Regional Manager of a Wal-Mart. Sounds weird, considering that takes a lot of responsibility and Wal-Mart isn't in the the best of positions right now. However, I have this assignment for my class and I have to know what are the steps towards the job of your choice. So I was curious, does anyone know the requirements of being a regional manager of a Wal-Mart. It'd also be nice if you could share your Regional Manager experience with me too.
