need to adress a letter to an apartment manager inorder to help a friend qualify for an apartment tht requires 3x the rent. friend only reicives SSI and needs a document stating that I will help pay the bills. how should i write this leter?

You will need to contact the apartment Manager and ask to cosign the lease. But keep in mind that if your friend is unable to pay the rent you will then be responsible for it.

If you are going to co-sign on a lease, you will be responsible for the entire amount if your friend doesn't pay. Can you afford to do that indefinitely? Good intentions can go wrong, simply because of circumstances beyond your control.
Think carefully before getting financially involved - there are other ways you can help your friend without taking on more debt.
