I just got hired at at call center (doing mail-in surveys) and I hate it. I have such a weak unconfident voice and feel like a spineless moron when people get mad at me and yell at me. And I'm not even trying to sell them anything! I think I'm too sensitive to people. I like typing- I actually love typing. So what do you think I should apply for instead?

I'm looking to open a small lounge with a couple of 1-2 pool tables, 5-10 computes, a couple of tables and sell drinks and make coffee/tea but nothing alchoholic.(except beers). What kind of licenses do I need to have and permits? I know I need a EIN to employ workers and also need insurance and obviously a place to have the lounge. If its possible please explain in your own words instead of linking me to other sites, I kinda want someone with somewhat of a hands on expierience with this type of situation. Thank you.

I'm paid to start work at 12:00. At that exact minute the place that I work is scheduled to open, and I am supposed to open it. I feel that if they want me to be there before 12:00, they should pay me to start at 11:45 or something.

I arrive every day at 11:55 with the keys to open. I get it open and presentable to our customers by 12:00 at the very latest (it doesn't take long to turn on the lights and computers). However, one of my co-workers always arrives before me. EVERY time I come into work she says, "Wow! I was really starting to worry that you wouldn't come!"

I'm getting really sick of hearing her make that comment EVERY time I come to work. The worst part is that she sits at her desk all day doing nothing while I do the work for both of us. I don't want to start a fight, and I've already tried being polite by saying, "Don't worry, I'm always on time!" but nothing seems to work. She sounds like a broken record. What should I say / do next time?

I have a small not for profit organization, but we are at the moment meeting in a community room of a complex. There is some open property/ a small building and small apartments that I see great potential in that is across from where we meet, that would be an excellent place for my Organization, I'm wondering if maybe the owner would donate it and file it as a tax deduction, but it has a real estate sign up saying that it's for sale. Can the real estate company help me with this or should I contact the owner on my own?

Since she is still in high school, does anyone know of a good visa or mastercard program to start with.

She works and makes her own money, and she is not yet in college, but would like to start building credit to purchase a car.

Any ideas?

This is in Kissimmee, Florida. Last night, I went to a CVS pharmacy to buy a 20oz Dr. Pepper. The price tag said $1.19. I had $1.25. When I took it to the register, the price turned out to be $1.27, including tax. It was very nice of the cashier that she slid me the extra 2 cents.

Why did the price tag not reflect the actual price, including taxation? Shoudn't it? I think that is misleading.
