It probably will depend on the specific employer. Some are hung up on stuff like that, but the fact that it was 10 years ago should definitely help especially if you impress them with a speech about how you have turned your life around and have grown up and are not the same person you were 10 years ago. Good luck and just keep trying, and you'll get something to reward you for your hard work.

Yes, I think it's possible. If asked in advance by an employer, just be honest. I know someone who lied before a background check was done and I think that's why they didn't get the job. Good luck and try to get some reference letters too (character and professional). This might help.
