I just got hired at at call center (doing mail-in surveys) and I hate it. I have such a weak unconfident voice and feel like a spineless moron when people get mad at me and yell at me. And I'm not even trying to sell them anything! I think I'm too sensitive to people. I like typing- I actually love typing. So what do you think I should apply for instead?

Being an introvert (with weak voice), sometimes my job can be intimidating because there's plenty of interaction with people. I just have to force myself to speak up and sacrifice my comfort because I know things will get better later on.. i'll accumulate my savings and gain experience. It kinda helps to have a mentor and people who you get along with at work too. Try doing your best at the call center until you find a better position, or take classes and work towards a degree or certificate. It will pay off.

The most plentiful jobs in my area are in the medical industry. If you just like typing thre are always data entry jobs in the business departments. Patient and insurance information. Also the doctors make recordings and then transcriptionists type the information into computers. I am sure there are many other keybording jobs that I have not thought of.

If you are not happy with your job change it. The best thing in the world is to get paid for doing what you really love to do so think about what things you really like to do and see how those things could translate into a paying job. Life is too short to be miserable in the thing that you have to do everyday. Go back to school and start a new career you love and then getting up everyday and going to work is great and you will excel and succeed

An assistant! Idk its hard to decide, but I'm sensitive and sensitivity is a great quality, its a lot of boneheads that are spinless not u! im sure ur a great person that wud be great to hav work for them. but u need to find the right people and ull find the job u want eventually, its the $ too right??

if you like to type, then the best position for you would be in administration (administrative assistant, secretary, general clerk)
