question says it all really, cant afford not to work so college or uni is out of the question. does anybody know of like an apprenticeship scheme, if this is your line of work how did you start? all responses will be greatly appreciated.

mak a web site and make flyers and pass em around ... the mor people knw about ur business the mor known and trust u bild for ur work ..and try to find other ways to get ur name out

Sounds to me like you already have a passion for the craft. A lot of people get into this field simply by advertising and working. A lot of people go into business doing this so you could probably do the same thing with very little investment on your part other than working your craft. Try doing this as a business, decorative painting is big business. I would suggest learning the One Stroke Technique by Donna Dewberry. Just type in keyword One Stroke. People are making a lot of money doing this. Do faux painting as well. Good luck.

The checklist is endless. you're blessed with a unbiased room so which you're able to do what you desire with it. eco-friendly is a restful and at present in demand color. There are some eye-catching vegetables around on the 2d. it is critical to to be ambitious however and decide for vivid colors whether i might shop on with some thing somewhat tame ie, eco-friendly that i've got metioned, browns, golds are very 'in' on the 2d. Why not have a browse around a stable high quality bedding branch ie John Lewis for suggestion.

There is a place in leicestershire that does home study courses which are subsidised and cost a few hundred pounds - do that then do a few jobs cheap for friends and family to build a portfolio and a website then when you are confident put out adverts....
