Ok,I'm just starting to think about investing some money for real. I've heard about if you put X amount of money away for so many years at a 7-10% annual return you can have a huge nest egg for when you retire. Where do I find a high interst rate like that? If it has that high of an interest rate is it the kind of thing like a CD where you don't risk loosing your money? Or how much risk is involved? Can I do this through my bank? What do I ask them about? I'm so clueless! Where do I start????

I used to work for citigroup and they sent me a letter saying they overpaid me by 1200 and need payment from me. I know this cant be true and I think the company messed up. They said it is being handled by "recovery services" for collection of payment. I called them and they said they would look into it, what do i do if they say i do owe the money? What are my options and how will it effect my credit score?

I found a business, and I love their concept. I'd love to expand their business as in investor, but don't know how to approach them. They are privately owned and NOT currently franchising. I want them to take me seriously, so what kind of documentation would you recommend I have prepared? Business plan? Financial statements? Should I treat this like franchising is already available, or is that too premature? Perhaps I simply start with a letter? I want to step off on the right foot, so someone please help.

I administer benefits for a small business -- we're looking to add Roth 401ks to our benefit offering -- where can I find a reputable, and hopefully low cost and online administrator of these plans? We're looking for something like what www.paycycle.com does for payroll. We've seen lots of regular 401k sites, but anyone know of a company that does Roth 401ks?

I have been working for a company for almost 1 yr now. My immediate manager has become pregnant and has been working 15 -20 hrs a week as compared to the 40 required. The manager of the office is aware and signs her 40 time cards anyway. I am in no way compensated for the extra work and time by myself there. HR has no idea of the situation. I have been sick for the past 2 days and have recievd a phone call yesterday teling me it was not fair to her that i was not there because she planned to take time off and if i couldnt let her know if i was going to be there tomorrow that she was going to hire a temp and it would not be needed for me to come to work tomorrow. (as if i can predict if i will be well tomorrow). I spoke to the office manager who aid that i was putting a burden on the office. I have rarely ever miissed any days before this. I am very hurt and their offended at their reactions, what should I do. I do plan to speak with both of them when i return.

Hi all. I am employed as a Picker/Packer at a "mom n' pop" type warehouse. Well, at orientation last week, my boss's wife Dottie Lee smacked me on the azz real hard and laughed as she walked away. I just assumed she was some kind of freak mama and blew it off. Well, I started Monday, and let me tell you it gets worse. On Monday, my boss told me I would spend the first part of the morning training with Dottie Lee and filling out paperwork. Well, I was drinking hot coffee from one of those flimsy cups, and managed to trip while walking and ended up spilling coffee on my face and shirt. Well, without warning Dottie licks my face! Ugh! Then, she proceeds to drag her old cracked, dry tongue down my shirt! I told her to stop it! She just laughed and walked away and told me to go to lunch. I didn't see her the rest of the day. However, today, I started on the line, and Dottie came up behind me and pinched me on the booty. I hurt like something awful! I need this job. Should I tell my boss???

I recently sell a IPod to a person in NY. She said she will send the money order and then I should send the IPod to her with the her FedEx account. How does it actually work? She said I should provide the shipping tracking number with USPS so I will get the money. But then how do I know the money order is real before I even ship it to her. Please help me.
