I mean isn't Gold the only element that has very high value over time? Cash succumbs to inflation but gold doesnt then how come people are investing their money in other stocks that have no value at all?

I'm doing job at i-banks, do companies typically require you to have your transcript sent to them after they hire you? Is it typical for a person to put his GPA on his resume? Would having not so stellar grade affect whether they would hire a person?

Hi there. A long time ago there was a company called Shiaomedia that did some flash stuff that I liked. I can't seem to find out anything about them now though - it's like they just up and dissapeared. I can't even tell if they're still around or not, if they just renamed the company, if any of them moved on to other companies, etc., etc.
If anyone out there has any info about them, please drop me a line and let me know what happened. While I'm assuming that they went under, it would be nice to know one way or the other. Major thanks!

I wrote up my resume a few months ago and have been submitting them like crazy to job offerings. I've also tried employment services but nothing is coming back. I have 2 years work experience in bill collections, 2 in retail and I'm a senior in college. I've had a lot of in between jobs that have lasted 2-3 months but it never suited me (hostess and shoe sales).
What is my problem and why can't I find a decent job? I'd like to work in a bank or somewhere, or just dealing w/$ since my major is business mgt and it's a family expertise.

I have a commerical setup on Hennur -Kothanur main road,
which I propose to let out on least t o a banking institution.
I feel that the area is suitable for the same since the nearest bank is 3 k.m.s away ,a nd the area is fast developing. Moreover
there is an apartment complex just behind my premises housing 250 flats, which is almost ready for occupation. Therefore I feel

In December my Grammi passed away. I had been living with her for 3 1/2 years when this happened. i just moved to a different department... same job new team and boss. since i got there shes tried to control everything i do... i mean down to... to tape or lick my envelopes. (she says tapes too expensive.) ... well a couple of weeks ago i asked her if i could close my register 30 minutes earlier than normal, cuz i get really stessed out, trying to do a deposit in such a short time frame. she just said NO. not even giving an explanation. so i just let it go... until one day nobody did a deposit the previous day and i knew it was gonna be huge... so i asked someone else (becuz she was on break) to close me out early. he did ... she got her feelings hurt and now we have a huge meeting on tuesday... about the rules of my job... i went to her and explained myself, that i was just stressed about the amount of money and lack of time... that i wasnt trying to be malicious... but in hindsite i can see why shed feel that way... what am i supposed to do she still thinks im out to get her????

I don't have any credit card debt whatsoever but numerous bills I racked up as a youngster that I couldn't or didn't pay. No repos, no liens, no student loans, just bills. Should I go through one of the agencies of just contact the companies on my own and go from there? I really want to consolidate that debt into one sum but I don't think they do that if you don't have credit card debt. Any ideas on what I should do?
