I have bulit a site (www.hooknike.com) selling shoes and I have made an ads in google adwords as follows:

$70 for Brand Sports Shoes
If you love sports and need shoes,
Come here. All kinds of sports shoes!

The above is the ads I made. But I find it's not so effective. By now, only 3 people clicked the ads when it has already appeared 789 times.

So anybody can make me an effective ads? I will send him a free shoes for his help. I am serious. You can ask for any shoes in my site if you can get me the most effective ads. Thank you.

All the best ads follow this simple rule: AIDA

A Attention
I Interest
D Desire
A Action

Think about it - how many shoe sites are out there? How can you make yours stand out? You've got to grab attention (images work well, or a punchy headline), stimulate their interest and desire, then get the action you want them to do (click on your link & buy some shoes).

You need something unique (USP - unique selling propostion).

Give people a good reason to click with a special offer. Are your shoes discounted? People love cheap things (eg: Half price sports shoes - all major brands).

You can say it in many ways too (eg: Buy one pair, get the second for free!).

Just brainstorm until you've got the best idea you can think of and run with it.

One more thing - you need credibility. Set up an e-mail that links through your site rather than gmail. Non-linked e-mail makes you appear to be a scam.

There is a huge variable of question's here when looking at your situation. So I'll start from the beginning.

Most importantly is what keywords you want to target. This is where you want to be as completely specific as humanly possible. Keywords are everything. You need alot of them and to be specific when choosing them. There are other variables here as well, such as amount of searches each keyword gets.

So do your homework....

Now onto the ad itself....

Use your keyword in the headline, while at the sametime trying to grab your prospects attention. Using the keyword in the ad will bold that keyword and pull his/her eyes to your ad. Plus, it will be seen as more relevant to Google as well.

hint: Very often using a question in the headline pulls a better response, at least for what i've found.

eg Are your Sports Shoes Worn Thin? (something like that, or even just: Looking for Sports Shoes even though those are a dime a dozen will still usually out perform a regular statement)

In the body of the ad you will want to use the keyword again as well, on both lines if possible. You've done that already in your ad. Now it's time to rephrase it.

example:
Looking for Sports Shoes?
Here's where to find (insert brand) Sports Shoes
All (insert brand) Sports Shoes at one low price

note: I think I may have gone over the character limit but you get the idea.

If you want to filter out tire kickers definetly add the price

example: All (insert brand) Sports Shoes just $70

Again, with keywords I would make a new ad for each brand in your case.

A great place for keyword search is http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

or if you want to pay www.wordtracker.com is the absolute best place.

Also, I did notice that your site would fair better with Google if you had a tad bit of content on the pages, even if it's a basic description of the shoe itself.....

And send people to the page of the brand that they're searching for. This all helps with your quality score.

Hope this helps you tons!

I'm not going into any technical jargons. Let me put it in a simple way. Being a customer would you really be convinced with the same type of advertisement? Try to imagine something being a customer, like if you are a customer then this advertisement would attract you. Once you are able to do that you'll definitely succeed more & become more creative. One more thing, try to create something new which is not in the general trend.

I cannot explain the changes you need to make to your ad here. It may be better if you read the adveice for free from articles at: http://www.imcmake-money-fast-online.com/
