I hated my job so I quit and now I'm barely making enough to pay my bills at my new job, I'm sick of it! I've heard of working at home jobs but I just feel like I'm gonna get caught in a scam...especially the ones where you have to pay first. Does anyone know of any legitimate work at home jobs?

Is there any empirical data out there that will tell us what popular brands mean to people? Such as, Nike=success, Harley Davidson=rebellion, etc. It would be great to have some data on how people actually feel about these brands.

Please settle an argument between my husband and I. We drive in our town back and forth to work, and I feel ok with that. I want to rent a car tonight because we have to go to an interview. It's about 2 hours away, down a highway strewn with police. I think it's crazy to try to drive in our vehicle, uninsured. He doesn't want to waste the money on a rental. It's a $5000 fine if we're caught - plus I'd likely lose my job (can't have a police record). How far would you drive uninsured? I don't even like driving in town - but we're a few months away from being able to afford insurance. Opinions please.

I recently left a city that I loved for family reasons. It's supposed to be temporary. So, I've signed on with a few temp agencies so I can work to earn the money to go back. I keep getting those stupid letters from 'attorneys' in South Africa, telling me about all the money I can make if I put up some money in an account here, blah, blah, blah.
Or, that a long lost relative of mine has died there, and has 5 million dollars to leave to me. Obviously, I always dump them, but was wondering is there a place we can send them to? Like, a 'spoof' address for the government? Is anyone actually, trying to stop this kind of trash?

My brother and I just bought a house and it's a 5 year interest only loan and the mortgage is close to $4000 a month. We are basically having a hard time paying our monthly. Should we refinance already? It's been only 5 months and there's a prepayment penalty if we do it before 1 year. Please advise.

my pay went from 10/hr to 12/hr. we get paid semi monthly...each check is for 86.67 hrs. i live in wisconsin and i claim 6 on my w4 (i could have claimed 12 according to the worksheet)

US auto makerts have been selling multi fuel vehicles in Brazil. Why can't we just demand that ALL vehicles have Multi fuel engines. Also why are we leaving it up to the Japaneese and the Chinese to build hydrogen abd full electric vehicles. There is no reason that US inginuity and drive cannot become the best and most inovative Auto manufacturers in the world. What is missing is the commitment from our manufacturers. It looks like American business would rather just sell Chinese goods than go to the trouble of doing the manufacturng.

I want to be a housekeeper for a Hampton Inn where I live and my sister works there and she said its hard work. is it? Should i consider doing it? Why would a cigarette company try to get people not to smoke... isnt that kind of the equivalent of an car dealership telling you that you shouldnt buy the car because your very likely going to get in an accident and die...all while still selling cars
