going for job-dont know what microsoft excel or word is could somebody tell me please.??

If you are serious, don't go for the Job.
Microsoft Office is a Suite of Office Computer programs that almost 98% of businesses use for their standard stuff like:
Word for typing letters
Excel for analysing data,
Access for Storing information,
Powerpoint for presentations
and Outlook for time management.
If this job requires you to be proficient in these applications, and you don't even know what they are, then that could very badly ruin your chances of the application.
It would be OK if you were not able to Audio type in a job that would require Audio typing as one of many duties, but if the Core part of your Job (Using MS Office) is missing, then there are few others that could sway an Employer.

They are programmes used by computers. You create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel- entering numbers into tables, to do calculations. Microsoft Word is a place where you type documents such as letters, forms etc.
If you don't know what these are I suggest you don't go for the job.

Are you serious? You don't know what Microsoft Word or Excel is? Perhaps you should go to a public library or use just about ANY computer and they should have those programs.

Excel is a spreadsheet program, used for calculations.
Word is the most commonly used word processing program.
Don't go for the job if you don't know these - instead get some training in computers.

Be there for her and try and get her to talk to her parents... By her talking to them gives her more options on wether or not she wants to keep it or even adoption she has more options now than she will later. Her parents will find out eventually just make sure it's not to late. And be a good friend and try and help/guide her to make the choices she wants and not what anyone "wants" her to do because she am has to deal with it later on in life no matter what she decides... And like the girl before said her parents will grow to the idea and yes there's a chance they'll loose it but the won't hurt her or the baby. So encourage her to make her decisions that will benefit her in the end.

Why do you think you can get a job where you don't even know what the tools are ?
Did the job advert request no previous experience required ?
Didn't you use computers at all when you were in school or perhaps you just weren't paying any attention.
