I'm due in October. After a 12 week leave, I'd go back January 2. I don't know the person who I'll hire to keep my baby because I only have one relative here and everyone else is new to me. My family relocated here last year and will move again in 2-6 years to be nearer to our family. I love my work, but I can also work in my other talents from home with the exception of meetings. WHEN SHOULD I SHARE THIS WITH MY BOSS? (I teach computer classes part time and will do about 8 hours per week in January...that is until I resign, if that is what me and my family decide) I also have a 13 year old who needs me home. PLEASE ANSWER! Thank you!!!

My husband and I are relocating to southern Ohio from Knoxville, Tennessee. It will sort of seem odd to most for one to move from a big city to a small town. I really need to know specifically how the letter should be outlined and possibly what phrases should be included. Thank you in advance

I've spent 8 years buiding professional contacts at my current job and have a rolodex on my desk @ work that is invaluable to me. Would this be considered property of the company, like a computer for example, or is it acceptable to take that with me when I leave?

We are thinking of switching from a C-corp to an S-corp. One of our shareholders is an LLC company and one is a family trust. I think we can switch with the family trust, but I can't find out if we qualify as an S-corp given the LLC investor.

Help! I want to invest and stop throwing away money in rent. I have looked at apartments in queens but the prices are insane! I can't afford to pay more than 13 or 14 hundred dollars for mortgage, taxes and maintenance total. Most places that are in a decent neighborhood run 275k and up! Should I just continue to save and invest while renting so that I have a solid down payment in 3-5 years?...but then i worry that prices will be even higher by the time i have enough money for a solid downpayment the property price would have increased the same amount that i have saved! Should i save and rent and in 5 or so years move to an area where it's not as expensive...like indiana!?

My share of an inheritance from my mom will be $135,000. Her financial advisor says that if paid to me in a lump sum, about $50-55,000 will be taxable as ordinary income.

I took a 2nd mortgage last year on my house to buy a vacation home that needs some work in order to be usable for myself and as a seasonal rental. I owe $95,000 on the 6.5% loan; repairs and upgrades will run about $35,000. Getting this house in order is a top priority. I hope to retire next year, and planned to sell the main house, using the profit to pay off the vacation house loan and pay cash for a retirement place. I would continue to own two houses.

Question: What is the best strategy to use this inheritance? Take the tax hit and pay off the vacation house loan and repairs? Keep the loan, pay for the repairs, invest the rest, and pay off the loan next year with the sale of the main house? Other, better ideas?

Hypathetically and without going into details, say someone was dieing of a brain tumor and they wanted to get a bunch of credit cards and loans so he could go to Amsterdam, **** a hooker of every race and hair color, smoke a lot of pot, and then put a bullet through his head to make this ceaseless headache stop from behind his left eye. What would he need to do to get the most amount of money without any care for the interest rate or anything that other people normally care about.

He doesn't know if he has any credit history at all. He has never overdrawn from his bank account or anything like that.
