What are your experiences, good and bad? Do you lean towards risky or safe loans? Do you spread your money around to reduce risk or put large amounts in a few loans?

Very interesting concept. As I understand it, prosper.com lends the money, and then splits up and sells the debt to their consumers. I think I'll try it using money I would have put into a CD. I lean toward a spread of safe loans and maybe try a couple riskier loans in an effort to beat the 5% rates of CDs. Possibly worth the risk as an investment. Worth a try.

Not yet, but I set up an account a couple days ago. I'm going to give it a try, loan out 50 bucks to a few people and see if any default.
