I live in a neighborhood full of "engineers". All their wives stay home with their oodles of kids (like I've always wanted to do). The salaries I've see posted in the newspaper for engineers are not extremely impressive. I know nothing about the field other than everyone around me is one of them and they must make good money. Please enlighten me. What kinds of engineers make the best money?

Everymonth we receive a big credit card statement that needs to be recorded in Quickbooks. Since the statement itself serves as the proof of expense, do we need to record each transaction?

I was a home depot employee for 3 1/2 years. I've worked at 3 different stores in 2 states and it seems that everyone has the same complaints. Customers and employees alike. I quit because it wasn't all that it was when I first started working there and by the time I quit it was getting ridiculous. I always like to hear what other employees have to say. Is it really that bad all over?

I know a lot of talented people, like me that I trust. We used to work for the same company that laid us all off. Why are we putting our talents to work for someone that gets paid millions, while we didn't get raises for 3 years? I want to start my own company but my problem is not in the start up costs, or people to work with, but in the idea of what to do in the first place.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can go about figuring this out?

I'm not interested in using one of those places you see on tv or hiring an intellectual property lawyer. Any citizen can apply for patent, and I'd like to cut out all of the middlemen. My genius skills and things I've done with them never fail to amaze people. It's time for me to try putting some of my ideas to work, and on the market.
I guess I'm seeking an open minded investor, thanks for reading and wish me luck!

I have since made this account right, it was years ago, but it has stayed on my record. I know because when I wanted to open a new account, the bank called and this old account came up. Is there any number I can call to find out how long this is on my record for? I have a receipt that I paid the original bank. It has been 6 years. This is frustrating.

My son has a very expensive truck that has a co-signer on the note. The co-signer is my friend and we are not having any friendship problems. The problem is that my son was recently dumped by his fiance. That completely up-heaved his life to a point that he was physically sick and missed a lot of work. Not only can he not make his note this month, but he has realized that if he is ever going to get ahead he cannot put all of his income into a truck note. We feel that if he tries to sell the truck himself he will not get the money that he owes out of it. Additionally, the bank has been very uncooperative concerning his insurance. We have proof that he has had insurance the whole time he has had the truck and the bank refuses to accept it. They are tacking an additional $400.00 or so per month for thier own insurance. The monthly note is over $1000.00 per month now.

I just found out I am expecting our 2nd baby in March. I DO NOT want to miss everything AGAIN! I will absolutely loose it. I need money, I need to see my children. This is the best thing I can think of. I live in WI, not sure if there are any rules that would specify to this state. Do I HAVE to become certified? My current sitter is not. If I should, how do I start? What is the best way to advertise? I will not start until after the baby is born, not fair to the families to start now and then tell them I need off several weeks after the baby is born. Any help from someone who has been there, done that is VERY appreciated! If you did it and now don't, what didn't you like - what didn't work out?
