I was a home depot employee for 3 1/2 years. I've worked at 3 different stores in 2 states and it seems that everyone has the same complaints. Customers and employees alike. I quit because it wasn't all that it was when I first started working there and by the time I quit it was getting ridiculous. I always like to hear what other employees have to say. Is it really that bad all over?

Hey, I saw that a couple got married at the home depot in the little circular that we would get there. When we read it it was literally making my fellow associates want to throw up...ha ha....well I can't say much, I met my husband there too

because that is what corporations do. maximise profits on low wages. they infiltrate, get rid off unions, take over, and monopolise.and then have staff on loose low paid contracts. all this forces the pilots to have multiple jobs with the result you may not have a well rested pilot at the helm of your flight with the obvious consequences.. i have often written this before on this site and i will be glad to do so again and again. corporations ruin the world. untill these fictitious legal identities are forbidden to operate anywhere the world will not be a better place. i love private enterprise and i am all for it. but not global corporations. they don,t respect human needs. try watching the doco, the corporation. basically it explains how the corporation is akin to a psychopath. a legal but fictitious identity. .oops just had to edit that as the emails started coming in.

I have never worked there, but I honestly don't see why anyone would want to. They always seem understaffed, you either get someone who blows you off, or you get somebody who's trying so hard not to get stressed out, while they explain to a person how to build an entire home from the ground up.

My friend is trying to get a job at Home Depot. He has only good things to say about it. He mentioned that Home Depot provides health insurance for your pets.
