Someone said that in my county it's only 10 dollars but my employer is taking out WAY more than that. Is this true?

It seems that people are more closely associated with liabilities rather than resources to help keep the business become more productive. How odd is that? Patents, trademarks and goodwill could have a dollar value and it could even be amortized. Yet nobody bothered to figure out a system for doing the same thing with employees.

I usually like to send thank you notes after interviewing for a job, but I recently had a company spring a four-person interview team on me. I had only been in contact with one of the team members previously - so her name is the only one I have.

Do I write a note just to her? It seems like I should make some mention of the other three.

What's the etiquette in a situation like this?

I want a job that makes me happy and I dont have to drag my feet to. I dont know, being a lawyer you make good money, but being a pilot you experience so many new things everyday, I dont think it ever gets old.

Insulting?? Should I say something??
Is this insulting????
I have been with my company for 3 yeas now. The first year I was given a 3.5% increase on my pay, last year 2.5% ( and I was out for 6 months, and came back a week before evaluations on maternity leave) then this year I got 1%!!!!!!!! 1%!!!!

Should I feel insulted, or is a 1% increase good?? I totaled it up, and it gives me an extra 280.00 per year!! That doesnt even cover gas to do all the running around I do for this place!!

What do you think I should do?? Say something or not.

So 3 years, and I have gotten a total of 90 cents is good??!! I live in central mass where the average house costs 250,000.00, and average rent is 1000.00 p/month.

We are eligable for up to a 6 % increase each June. Let me add that this is a VERRRYY successful company!!!

I only got 11 cents!!

I was hoping that someone could help me out. I am wanting to trade in the Forex market but am wondering a couple of things:

1. Is there a "school" that I could go to that would teach how to trade and stay profitable (Personally I NEED a classroom setting to really learn something. I know it can be done online but online does not work for me)
2. What is a reasonable expectation of what can be made from month to month and from year to year. Could a person expect to make $100K per year, $1 million per year? I have heard people say that you should be able to, at minimum, double your money consistently in a month. That sounds to high to me.
3. What kind of daily time investment would I be looking at? If I COULD double my money every month but I would have to be hands on for 12 hours a day 6 days a week it would not be worth it to me. Could a good income be made in 2 hours or less per day?
I am basically looking for a good school to get me started. And what I can expect.

Thinking of starting a bar called b.y.o.b,you pay $20 to get in...but you bring your own booze, and i put recycle containers for the bottles and can so i can profit on those as well,i'll only need 1 waitress, since she's not serving drinks, just one for food service, and i was thinking of making the bar look like a house, with couches and video games,so it feels like your drinkng with friends at home.

I just recently turned 18, and with college, and a car, and a thousand other things...good credit would be nice to have. I'm responsible with my money, a sub-poverty family does that to you, but my credit score is already bad. When I was 11, my stepdad (Who's long gone now) put a cable bill in my name and never paid it. There's also a Sprint Bill from when I was 16, but I paid that off a few weeks ago.

So I guess I just need some options on fixing my credit score. My mom doesn't really know, she has bad credit herself from bankruptcy (sp?) and stuff. The quicker I can fix it, and the more ways to fix it, the better, I have a lot of things to do that need a credit score. Thanks ahead of time...!
