how do you handle your finances? I mean - do you have separate accounts and each pay half for the bills or do you put deposits in one place and pay bills from there? What is working positively about the way you handle this?

What is the difference between accidental death insurance and regular life insurance? Which is a better buy? Wouldn't all deaths (excluding illnesses) be accident? If you only buy life insurance and don't include accidental death insurance then what is usually excluded? Thanks!!!
(I know its different for every insurance company, I am just wondering what generally the outcomes would be)

Are CEO's worth the money and benefits they make? just as worthy as teachers, firefighters and the workers underneath them? Would companies go under if the money that these CEOs make was better distributed amongst the company? Is this fair? *sigh*

He is sneaky type , likes to kiss boss' s a s s, complains about every one behind their back. Lazy, always want to take advantage of you. And he approaches to the boss, he seems like he is very busy and very hard working and yet he does not do anything but complain, whine and take advantage of people. He will befriend with you if you do him favors, otherwise, he will stab you in the back.

How do you deal with co-workers like that?

First of all, if you're going to be rude, or tell me to "get a job", don't bother me. Just don't even respond. Understand?

I am fed up with money problems. I am a disabled student. I cannot work right now. I don't have any money for food, gas, or the basic necessities in life, and I am so tired of it.

Are you struggling just to survive, too?

Please note, I DO NOT have a computer. I am using a computer at my school right now to access 'answers'. We do not have a computer at home, nor an internet connection, nor an ISP, nor a telephone. We don't have the money for any of that stuff.

I do have a car, which I thank God for. It runs well, and the air conditioning works. I know that there are people in the world who are less fortunate than I.

But don't you DARE tell me not to complain. Don't you DARE tell me to "grow up". I am a full grown, intelligent, mature man. That has absolutely no bearing on my plight.

Like I said, smart Alecs don't even bother responding. Thanks.

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but for all of you beanie baby collectors, maybe you can help me out. I used to collect beanie babies awhile back. All of the ones that I have are retired because I haven't bought any new ones. I dont even know if being retired or not means anything, but what should I do with them? I want to sell them, but would it be better for me to wait a few years and see if their values increase? or should I just sell the lot of them on eBay now? Are they ever going to get as popular as they once were where I would be able to sell them for twice what I would get now?

I live an hour and a half away from work and have to commute every day (Monday - Friday). It puts a lot of miles and wear and tear on my car, not to mention costs a lot, and takes a lot of time and energy. I found a house twice as close to work that I am interested in purchasing.

I live with my boyfriend. I am 19 years old and he is 20 years old. I have a bit of credit established and he does not at all. If we are going to purchase this house any time soon (our lease goes up October 1st) it will have to be in my name since I have credit and he does not.
My idea is (if I can get pre-approved) that we should go ahead and get the house in my name and put the utilities in his name while he builds credit. Once he has credit built up and/or we are married, we will refinance to put the house in both of our names.
His idea is to wait to buy a house until he has established credit. But in the meantime, it costs me a lot of time, money, and energy to work so far away.

Suggestions?

I only have 4 years left to pay on my house. I am approx. 40yrs old. I have about $45,000 in my 401k with an annual return of 8-10%. I also have two kids, one will graduate in 5 years the other one will be in first grade. They both have a college saving fund, but we will be responsible for most of the cost.

What do you think I should do??

My fiancee and I have been talking about buying a house for almost a year and we're getting into a financial position where we may be able to.
We are both wondering whether it would be better to have a wedding first or to get married. We both agree that buying a house is more important to us then getting married right now. We still want an actual nice wedding ceromony, we don't want to get married at the courthouse just to facilitate buying a house.
We are planning on buying a house in Virginia or North Carolina. Should we concentrate on buying a house or planning a wedding?

one of my employees did something really dumb, and it could affect other employees. After telling her why it wasn't the right thing to do, she wanted to discuss it further. I told her that I was in no frame of mind to discuss it, that I was very angry and very disappointed, and that I needed time for those feelings to pass to discuss it rationally. She has now asked for a meeting with HR, and I am sure it is to discuss this. Thoughts?
