I guess it would depend on why you work in the first place. I myself only work because I need the money to live on. I have chosen a job that I love, but if I did not need the money I do not believe I would continue to work a full time job for someone else. I have a friend that works part time because she says she needs the adult contact, so yes she does work even though she does not needs the money. If I did not need the money I would become a consultant in the field I am currently in and base my pay on the persons circumstances.

Trying to weed out the men you want to date? LOL J/K. I wish I WERE in that position! I do have a friend, though, who's ...shall we say "independently wealthy". He works one day a week in the audio-mixing business only because he loves to do it. Oh, make that 2 people. The other works P/T at Bed Bath & Beyond just to keep social. Both are fairly young, and neither HAVE toi work a day in their lives. There's something to be said for good inheritances!

Yeah. If I had enough money where I didn't need to work... I would probably find a job that is fun and work a few days a week.
Wouldn't that be nice?

I think one should try to.
It's connection to life and humanity
Life becomes pretty empty without some kind of production.
For specific cases, it's better to look for professional opinion
