I install software but I do not make copies of it. Last Thursday someone hired me for installing one, which the price range of the software is very high compared to mine but I only charge for installation; actually the program I install is FREE. Before I install the program in the computer, I run a virus scan and show it to the person to make sure the software is not corrupted and virus free. I installed the program, after I installed it I restarted the computer 2 times, and when I finished I left his computer on and working fine telling him "if there is something wrong with the sofware call me" I didn't say "Call me if there is something wrong with his computer". He called me on Sunday telling me that his computer is not working, that is frozen trying to blame it on me. What I feel bad about it is that was his business computer and all his business files were in it.

Should I do something?
Am I liable?
What would you suggest me to do?

i haven't made a minimum payment in 8 mo. they are charging it off, but can will they sue me for it? my credit card limit was 1250 and with fees and interest it's up to about 2200. i don't have a job bc i take care of my son. my husband got laid off and we can barely afford to live. i only own a '92 car that's not worth even 800. if i continue to make payments, can they sue me? we can't afford to pay right now and we certainly can't afford garnishments or court costs. what can i do?

I always pay my husband and my credit card payments on time. However, because both are close to the credit limit, a few times they have gone over the limit by a little bit because of the monthly finance charges. Does this hurt your credit score as much as making a late payment? My husband doesn't seem to think so, but I DO. We just tried to get a loan and they said we had "deliquent payments", however, we have never had a late payment, just gone over the limit. Is it the same thing in creditors eyes??

I have a bachelors and am thinking of moving to Raleigh in about one to two years. Anyone have atips for a guy who wants to work in a school setting as a counselor, who has a coaching certificate, plenty of life experience, four years paid in the field, and wants to go to college to get his Master's?
