I rented an apartment and due to losing my job was not able to keep up my rent payments so I was evicted. The eviction amount that was filed with the courts was 1 months rent of $405. I know if I apply to any apartment complex, they will decline me based on my eviction. What can I do to get back in good standings.

more details. it is not the political problems that interest me. it is the work ethic, today people are not willing to work for money, they want easy ways out and money for doing nothing. people are in grossly in debit, when you know the people in the greatest generation (my grandparents) would not purchase anything if they did not have the money. they would save money and never would they have had credit cards. thats it credit cards, tv, computers, fast food. get rid of those and you would all have money in the bank rather than giving the bank your paychecks. and if the government would follow that example it would be rich as well.

Hey I'm 18, I was considering adding this to my resume:

•eBay Seller, Since October 6th, 2001
Over 400 transactions, 99% positive feedback. Created and managed auctions and sales for over five years.

What do you think? Should I add it? Change it? Leave it off?

First off, they seem tremendously afraid of liability which they have whether they want it or not. Then they don't one to spend any money for training or other programs that may serve to limit their exposure to the very things that they are liable for due to regulations.
Do they truly not care? Are they uneducated as to the "real" risks they face? Are they just cheap? Do they see employees as expendable even in this time when it is getting harder and harder to find qualified applicants for open positions?

Does anyone else ever feel this way? I am a driver manager for 100+ truckers and sometimes just get tired of listening. Oh well, it is a good job and I really am not complaining, just wondering if anyone else is frustrated at having no time to themselves.

Does anyone think it is impossible to grab investors at my young age and little education. i'm only 21, and i've had bad luck with school finances and i've pretty much have bad or no credit. Me and a buddy really want to start up a laser tag business. We work hard and have pretty high ambitions, but life loves to play hardball.

i've been looking into business plans and all that, and i'm rather determined. i just hope this isn't just a crazy pipe dream of ours. anyone else think our young enrtreprenuer thing is a bit over our heads? I believe it could happen, but its just convincing investors that seems the most intimidating. I mean, this is a pretty expensive venture, but what isn't anyway? Any words of addvice or encouragement? hehe. discourage if you wish too.

Hiring managers usually ask why you left your last job. Well, what if it was because you got fired? How do you handle something like that?

He has worked at Walmart for a year and has a down payment. He drives a junk truck to work every day and needs to buy a car soon. I can co sign, but would rather he do the purchasing on his own. He has no credit history.
