If it is a legitimate and accredited institution, most definitely. These days a lot of big name universities offer online programs. One of the biggest in the biz is University of Phoenix but there are others. These days I think most major universities offer at least some online classes.

Even if it isn't a big school, if it is a class in a subject material to your profession you should list it. Demonstrating your knowledge is always a good thing.

So as long as it isn't a diploma mill, you should proudly list your online education.

PrincetonReview.com and other college search websites do offer links to online colleges and programs.

Best of luck.

acceptable, yes. credible, maybe. sufficient, NO. having worked for an online provider as an admissions rep, I can tell you it's crap. these are for profit businesses that happen to deal in education. what does that tell you? they answer to stock holders, not their students. if you're one of those luck students who happen to make a nice career after going there, the company will be banging on your door for you to do a promo for them and their business. the majority of these students really don't get much benefit out of it except digging themselves 20-30k in debt to get a $10/hr job. some employers don;t mind online degrees but keep i mind most of them are for associate degrees. That;s one step above a HS diploma. As long as a person had someway to pay and a GED, we'd enroll them into programs. even if they weren't suited for it. It's SALES, you are a number in someone's monthly quota and that's how they treat you.

I'd like a bit more information about what you are asking. Do you mean an online degree? online courses? online program you used?
