Marketing to real estate agents should only be part of your overall strategy.

If your looking to purcahse leads, have you looked at lowermybills.com and other similar mortgage lead generation services? There are many out there, I have a list of 4-5 somewhere...

If your looking to generate your own, then it really boils down to who you know and who you network with. Talk with friends, family, local business people you might know...starting out is the hardest thing to do, but once you build a solid network, it gets easier...

Your problem is that you are working for the wrong company, either that, or you are not doing something right. Don't blame it on the Realtors. Trust me...they get the business. Your job is to find out how to get to it without sounding like every other Loan Officer out there.

American Home Mortgage offers some amazing tools that you can use to separate yourself from your competition. Plus, with just under 2000 mortgage products and being a mortgage LENDER, you cannot go wrong.

I would recommend either changing companies, or changing the way you approach Realtors.

Also try bankratecom. They have some good filters. Make sure you're trained in following up on internet leads...leads can get pretty expensive.
