i want to get a genital piercing... i was wondering.... after a year or so, once i take out the piercing, will i forever have a hole in my skin? or will it eventually close up over time?
and, are there such things as barbells that ARENT metal? maybe made from silicone or plasitc? if not, do the standard metal barbells sound off metal detectors?

for years i have been shaving my arms and sides of my face. I am sick of shaving, but am to embarassed to let it grow out to do anything about it. its got to the point where i have to shave every day. does anyone know what i could do? I would grow my arm hair out, but after shaving for so long, it will come back very very dark and thick. but I am also embarassed that my arms are so hairless. is there a way to thin the hair?
or does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm Mexican-American and I have nice tanned/olive skin. But my elbows are so dark, I think they look gross.

Alot of people ask how to get rid of dark circles, even I have about twice before, I think.

But I have been doing some research and I heard that Vitamin K is good for under eye circles, is that true? And theres a homemade recipe with gelatin? Does that work? (do you know the recipe?)

The bags under my eyes aren't from sleep deprivation, salty foods or any of that. They are hereditary; can I still get rid of them? (with out surgery! I'm 17 LOL) I'm hoping I grow into them with time but it's not looking up.

Right now I'm using; the Fast Response Eye Cream from MAC, and I don't think it's working .. but the lady at the counter said you normally see results within 6 weeks. I think its only been 3 so far.

Any other tips would be helpful! I wear glasses, sometimes contacts, but I get so self consious with contacts even with concealer.

Tongue piercing question?

ok well i've been thinking of getting my tougne pierced n im not really scared of the pain, im more scared of it getting infected or loosing taste buds or getting it cut off. does anybody know if this is common or rare or does anybody know websites that show statistics because i really know. personal experiences are good too

I am currently using Aveeno exfoliating scrub as a face wash, but have recently moved to France and am almost out of it. The reason I use this face wash is because it is very mild (as in no fancy "warming" agents or frangrances) and does not contain salicylic acid which makes my face have a weird allergic reaction where I get really tiny, clearish bumps that end up looking like I have scaley skin. SO... I am looking for a face wash that anyone knows of that does not contain salicylic acid and I can buy here, since I can't seem to find Aveeno anywhere.

Does anyone know?

I hear that drinking green tea is good to cleanse the body...flush toxins out! is that true?..and it helps you lose weight,BUT i dont want to lose weight cuz im already thin,but i want it to help me with flushing toxins out.I have been drinking 2-3 cups a week.But i dont want to lose weight.What do you suggest?? 2. Freeman's Sheer moisture > raspberry, almond & kiwi lathering facial scrub

a) Is using these products and others in the same brand (Freeman's) as good as getting your own home natural ingredients, crushing them and applying them onto your skin?
b) Which is better, buying the above or preparing my own oatmeal facial from my kitchen?

3. Is St. Ives mineral clay "firming masque" good for young skin in their 20's? Or is it for more senior women?

4. The above brands are very much cheaper than say Lancome, estee lauder, and Dermalogica. But is using them as good as these branded cosmetics products? I mean the results.

I've had them my entire life... and the only thing dermotologists give me is acne cream! That just makes it worse, it's not acne... the skin around them is red and they aren't acne-like at all. Does anyone else have these? Any tips on getting rid of them?

I have to go to a competition in a week (i know my skin wont be perfect by then..duh.) ANd in may im going on this big europena tour with my aunt and I would love to have nice skin for all the pictures and everything! MY skin is real problem skin right now...i have MAJOR blackheads..like seriously there isnt more than 2 inches of my skin at most that isnt covered by them!!....And i get pimples every so often aswell (the ones that hurt!). I've used Proactive, and it works at keeping my acne down, but as soon as I stop, there they come again!, Clinique feels really nice on my skin and i love the moisturizing gel, not too happy with the soap I think I can do with something a little stronger. The lady at the spa recommended a 10% glycolic wash which I took a sample of and seemed quite good.
I want something that will keep my acne in control (i don't have that much) while clear up my acne scars!
Has anyone tried these products. what do you think?
