Lemon/ lime has a bleaching effect. How does it work? it bleaches ur skin but u must be carefull for loss of pigmentation in some parts of ur skin. Then u will be walking around like a dalmation ;)

What i do know is that putting lemon/lime juice in your hair and then spending time int he sun will bleach your hair naturally. You would think it would do the same for your skin, but nooooo, it will only burn your skin, causing blisters, and sun burn. Not good, My skin is super white, but i love your skin, it's so beautiful. Be happy with it.

they used to try and use lemon juice on freckles...I tried for over 2 years, and all I got was dry lemon fresh skin!
Sorry, can't believe that old rumor has made it back around..wish it would have worked!

if u smoke and your nails are kind a yellow,if u squize the juice out of a lemon and put your fingers in it your nails will become white :) (i know its not a answer to your question but I thought u might want to know this :))

not to my knowledge...but if you use lemon juice in a rinse for your hair it will lighten your hair
