Actually, I was really really bad about cleaning mine when I got it done, and I've never had an infection. I'm not saying you shouldn't clean it, you should, but your nose is definitely one of safer parts of your body to get pierced. One tip to stay away from infection is; don't play with it. It's suuuuch a temptation, but the nasties from your hands can mess it up. Also, try not to swim for a while... but if you get it done at a nice place, they'll tell you all this.

Ive had mine done twice. The odds are slim if you take good care of your piercing. cleanse it morning and night with sea salt water. use i teaspoon per 8 oz of water I find using a q tip works best. If it does get infected continue to clean it well and it will heal. keep in mind noses take awhile to heal.

Id probably say the chances are low.
When i got my nose pierced in 8th grade. I didnt clean it with sea salt. My stupid piercer was freaking asian so I guess that he wouldnt know anything. But anyways, so he didnt tell me how to clean it, anything. I also didnt clean my ear piercing either & I got my ears pierced 5 times! and nothing happened. THANK GOD. just dont touch it too much & you'll be fine.

Go to a tattoo and piercing place in your city and get it done.

If you keep it clean, and clean it with saline, you should have no risk of infection. If you keep it dirty and pick at it with your fingers, it will get infected.

Do not get it done at Walmart by someone with a piercing gun, it can cause a lot of damage. Trust someone who does it for a living.

the odds of infection of a nose piercing are the same as wiuth any piercing. take care of it and you should be fine. unless you're like me and allergic to a lot of metals. mine got infected because they used gold and im allergic to gold.

i have my nose pierced and it never got infected while it was healing. this is because i followed the cleaning instructions the piercer gave me. if you do that, then you'll have nothing to worry about!

there is always a chance of infection...the best thing to do is to keep applying the liquid wash stuff in the bottle to it and to turn it a couple times a day...also your body might see it as something that shouldnt be in your body and try to reject it

everyone's body heals differently and reacts differently to piercings. but just as long as you go to a good, reputable piercer and you make sure to be responsible and take care of it properly, you shouldnt have any problems with it.
