One of my best guy friends has been really itchy lately, and is constantly scratching his arms and back...he wants an exfoliator to slough off the dry skin, but doesn't know where to start, and neither do I (I'm taking him shopping for it)...any tips on a good scrub? I wash my face twice a day(which has salyllic acid in it if it makes a difference)and I also use a moisturizer and an acne treatment(that has benzoyl peroxide in it). I also use pore strips on my nose every once in a while. Would it be a good idea to start using an astringent? How many products is too many? Also, will my acne cream bleach my clothes/sheets? I used to use clearasil ultra tinted acne cream with benzoyl peroxide, and it warned me on the package that it may bleach things, and it does, so now I use AcneFree terminator acne cream, which also has benzoyl peroxide in it, but it didnt say anything on the package about it bleaching things, does anyone know if it will? Thanks!

i use deodorants specifically "AXE (scent: clix)" i use the dry stick.
for some reason though, my armpits still sweat even though i sort of put a lot, or just enough, i tried both and comparing it.

turns out, it doesn't make a difference except make my armpits not smell bad, but it still sweats. whats up wih that?



for the bath, is it okay to take a bath twice a day?

i mean, i read from another question that it dries out your skin and causes your hair to fall off (i just recently found out after reading the other question).

but, i sweat a lot so, i take a bath in the morning to go out probably 6-9 depends if its a school day or whatnot, then take another bath in the evening at like 7-8 pm to freshen up and go to sleep.

i do this everyday.

A few days from now I am planning to have my upper lip hairs waxed by my hairdresser. For almost two years now I have been bleaching my upper lip. Ever since I shaved it in middle school (stupid, I know), I've had thicker, darker hairs there.


If I get my upper lip proffessionally waxed:

Will it grow back darker?
Will it grow back as stubble?
Will it grow back thicker?
How long will it last?
How long will it be red for?
Will I get bumps?

my dermatalogist told me not to pop my pimples. so i didn't do it to one of my pimples but still did to the others. the pimple i didn't pop eventually grew and was an embarrasing huge brown spot that jutted out from the top left side of my face for about 2-3 months, then it became strangely poppable so i popped it like usual. so should i or should i not pop pimples? and if i shouldn't, then what was the reason that happened to me?

I got my cartilage pierced Sunday at Claire's and the guy did it wrong and had to take it out so then it scabbed and now the scab isn't there and its burning...is it infected? If so what do i do??

i've never had absolutely horrible skin, but i have a couple flaws that i would definately like to clear up, especially before school (have like five days!) i use the clinique three step system which seems to work. but i tend to have a lot of blackhead on my nose and chin and between my eyebrows. i don't know how to get rid of them i've tried every product out there. any suggestions?

I use AcneFree and after I use it, the places where I have acne turns a little pink. Is that an allergic reaction? I've also read that AcneFree prevents acne and doesn't treat it so I'm planning to get rid of all my acne and then use it to prevent the future ones. Should I keep doing this even though I have a little pink on my face? The pink goes away a couple minutes after. I also have some scars. Does the AcneFree scar remover work? Thank you for your answers and if you have some tips for me that would be great.

Sometimes when i wake up in the morning my skin is slightly dry. On these days would it be better to skip the cleanser and just rinse with warm water followed by an astringent and sunscreen? I don't want to over dry my skin but i dont want to break out from lack of cleansing either.

I got a tattoo that seemed to be healing fine. Went through the peeling and looked great. 10 days in, the colored flowers on my tattoo got severely inflamed - raised like welts and itchy as hell. The black parts were fine.
3 days later, I went to the doctor, who said to just put hydrocortisone on it, and take allergy pills (I'm taking loratadine). I used the Aveeno kind of hydrocortisone, as well as Aveeno Skin Relief lotion. The swelling went down, but my whole tattoo has turned into one big itchy rash. The rash has even spread to nearby skin that isn't tattooed. I've had this rash problem for 7 days now. What can I do for relief? Is this going to go away?!

Should I get a tatto for the first day of school? All my friends are gonna be trying to pick out the best thing to wear for the 1st day. I think if I just had a tatto I would beat all of them. This is our last year, and I REALLY wanna be edgy. Last year people just signed my yearbook "Have a good summer" LOLZ

What tatto should i get? It has to be kinda tough, but also cool, and maybe cute so girls will like it.

I have had three children and breast fed each one. I am thinking of having breast agumentation surgery and a tummy tuck to repair some of the damage.
